Just picked up a Trijicon MRO HD to mount on one of my AKs since I like the green MRO on the other. I have an astigmatism and while slightly smudged on the MRO the MOA of the dot is small enough that it doesn’t bother me.

I received the MRO HD this week and the new circle dot picture does not blur and looks perfect with my astigmatism. Anyone know why this would be the case? This is a happy accident.

MRO HD with TWS mount. Previously this had a primary arms optic and attero arms mount and I didn’t care for either. Will try to get this zeroed tomorrow.

Not sure if I am reading your OP correctly, but I have 2 Eotechs. The one with a green reticle is more visible, but seems blurry and less clear to me. The red seems like it has sharper lines and definition. Maybe there is some red vs green difference for certain eyes?

Interesting on the red vs green having a potential impact.

I have an Eotech and the outer ring is pixelated but not smudged and because the center dot is 1moa any distortion is minimal.

The techs are holographic and use a LASER to project the reticle.
The MRO HD is an LED, which using different tech projects a more clear reticle.

If you ever see an eotech holographic sight with a very clear reticle it is most likely counterfeit.
