Turkey Time

I can't wait to get out. At the beach for a few days. Nice bird!

Raining here, monsoon.
Wish I had put up a tent style blind in my field before the rain started.
Yeah I don't envy you guys at all right now. A buddy of mine near Durham sent pics of the creek in his back yard. I told him to set the kayaks by the windows so they can float out in another hour or two...

Hope you get some dry soon.

Yeah it was a bummer this morning. Seems like it has rained hard every weekend lately. I'm going to try to get out tomorrow morning early.

First time ever turkey hunting was last year. Going out tomorrow for the first time this year and it’ll be scouting as much as anything. Still hoping to bring one in!

Whether you get one or not, remember it's uplifting traditional fun just to be out on the hunt!

I aspire to be a turkey hunter. Never have been able to figure it out.

Same here. I've been turkey hunting for about 6 years now!

Out both mornings, Have been listening all week at my place. Have only heard a couple birds and they had lockjaw Saturday and Sunday. Luckily I had set up a ground blind on one of my fields, so was able to be out of the rain. Hoping the weather will change up for some better mornings in the turkey woods.

Went out again this morning. Heard 'em out there not too close from just before sunup to about 8AM, then sporadically from farther away till about 11. Couldn't get one to come close this time, but it was still a good morning in the woods. :)

A lot colder though! 38F when I got there.
