Everything went well on Thursday. Jerek’s counts looked really good. The bone marrow biopsy went well. They were able to get a liquid sample this time. They were unable to do this the first time due to the leukemia. Jerek also had the surgery to insert his port. This went well also. He is very sore today and will be for several days. The doctors are giving him another week off in order to give the port time to heal. Some of the bone marrow results were back today. At this time, they did not see any leukemia cells in his marrow. This was awesome news! The rest of the results will not be back until next week, but so far things are looking good. Thank you God for answered prayers.
