Why not, other agencies get the latest and the greatest.

Customs and Border Protection are seeking an initial order of 1,000 pistols as part of an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract for a family of lightweight, striker-fired, semi-automatic pistols. These will be in made available in various sizes and colours. The broader contract period is stated as 10 years with a contract ceiling listed at as much as $85 million. Making it potentially one of the biggest domestic law enforcement agency contracts of all time.

at $500 per pistol, they're looking at 170,000 pistols in 10 years. Are they planning on building the wall with them?

Don't those contracts also include parts, ammo, accessories, etc?

Or maybe 90% of that is for "administration costs" with the scraps going to buying hardware.

These guys need a new pistol. The HKp2000 with the LEM trigger in .40 that they are issued now is one of the most difficult pistols to shoot well, that I have ever used. Had one for a few years and I could never get used to that trigger.

BECAUSE IT'S TAN AND IT MATCHES THE DESERT!!!!
Don't question my unquestionable logic....
My humblest apologies sire.

Look what I found!

Plus the annual training for the 10 years.

For the love, please don't make it a Sig P320. IDK how the hell that made it through to the military.
