we are scheduled to go to Edisto beach for the week starting april 11 2020 what impact should we see in that part of SC. Trying to decide if we are still going

Food, adult beverages would top my list.

The ones I've seen around here are takeout only, I assume the rest of the state is the same.

Take out only in York county but it looks like you can hangout at outdoor patios and eat (for now!).
 
Parts of FL have closed their beaches, not sure how you’d check if SC is thinking about the same.
 
You’d be looking at the 3rd to 4th week of the panic in a “foreign place” ... things being so uncertain with necessities at home I’d be hard pressed to pack up and head approximately 8 hours and 400 miles for a vacation. I don’t mean civil unrest type stuff ... I just would wonder about the availability of food and supplies down there as well as the possibility of restricted access.

I may be overreacting but it’s to many what ifs and such to be traveling that far when we don’t know what possible things could pop up.
 
Unless it’s mandated from work I wouldn’t be going anywhere. Get to your hotel and the next day you are quarantined there for two weeks. Sounds good until you are stuck in a room dependent on other people to get you food and other supplies not to mention if you need medical care. Stay home and go once this all blows over.

Yes on this one.
My bff may have to not go be with her daughter when the baby comes in 2 weeks, because she may have trouble getting home from Orlando. No way to tell, but at least the Dr. has decided to allow her son-in-law to be in the room....that was in doubt till the other day!
Crazy times.
