Hi all,

Had this thumbhole vepr x39 for a couple years and circle 10 finally got a slant adapter triangle in so i picked one up. My intent was to bullet guide, rear convert, and then put a set of proper front HG retainers but i kind of like the way it looks now- sort of a Kyber pass style to it.
What do yall think?

I think it looks really good. Not like every other AK. Dont see too many inbetween conversions.

I can dig it! That stock looks very nice. Same with the grip. If it were mine I'd distress the handguard a bit and stain it to match the bakelite. Also, did you add a bullet guide or just lock in the Croatian mag for the photo? If yes, did you install it yourself or take it somewhere?

I did the bullet guide and mag catch myself-
Its a russian bake PG.
Close on the mag ID BTW, but its a worn out Yugo! Should have put a slabside or russian bake in for photo but it was laying nearby on the bench :)

But, but Comrade! That stock is as hollow as Capitalist Propaganda! How will you invert his base-ball paradigm and "line drive" his bourgeois grenades back at him with that? :D

I like it.

If you still have the buttstock, you can do something like this:

Or this. This one does not look comfy to employ, but does have a certain intimidation factor...
