Veteran Owned Coffee Review #16: 11 Bravo Coffee Co. - Recon Roast!

$16/pound of coffee? Negative, Ghost Rider. Not when I pay <$5 for 30 oz. of Maxwell House.

That said, I will put it on my birthday/Christmas list. If I get someone else to pay or it, I will drink it. Looks good.

Maxwell House is not coffee. It's coffee flavored sawdust...

I agree with you that $16/lb is absurd. Hipster coffee at Whole Foods isn't even that expensive...

I don't look for 'coffee' per se, I look for soulless, black sludge. Think motor oil without petroleum. In a pot I put in about 12 scoops.

I will drink pretty much anything, black, but have a hard stop as to what I will pay for.

If it's good & supports veterans, $16/lb ain't so bad. I can only drink a cup or 2 a day (I don't tolerate caffeine well), so a pound would last me a good little while. Living in Germany for 7 1/2 years ruined me for 'American' beer & coffee. If I'm gonna drink coffee, I'ma drink the good stuff.
