Video: Bear Creek Arsenal Mini Tour

Recently, they began advertising on the Clay & Buck radio show.

I've never bought or shot a complete bca firearm. I have bought and used several of there uppers and haven't had the first issue. I know reviews online are hit or miss. And there not made as clean as a expensive top shelf brand but that's not the market there in. Of course even if I buy a complete upper or firearm it gets tore down and gone over and I reassemble before shooting. I wouldn't hesitate to buy bca again.

Kidding aside, I don't bash BCA anymore. It's 2024, buyers know what they're getting and are ok with it. If that floats your boat, good for you.

If you ask them to get Big Mongo and his 5ft Cheater Bar to undo the barrel nut before they ship to you, everything is fine for the price.

I have a very early serial number BCA lower used to build a 16” middy and it’s a fantastic shooter.

buenos dias, mis amigos!
I can't help but wonder if BCA has had that kind of control over the entire process, how in the world did they earn such a bad reputation?
are they not running calibration checks at the start of a shift? are they not spot checking lots? Is Guey over there (not mongo) just working out his personal frustrations with nobody paying attention?

Pretty sure the vast majority of their bad rep came from many years ago when they were just starting out as Moores/Morres? Machine Co. Their stuff was crap. I bought one and it wouldn't run at all due to an out of spec lower. They wound up changing their name once or twice to run away from that rep and I don't blame them, lol. I really believe they've turned a corner though and their stuff these days is as good as other entry level products. I've heard multiple reports of good accuracy from their uppers.

They’re still pretty bad. Most of the hard parts aren’t the issue, but a lot of the smaller parts (firing pins, cam pins, etc.) are out of spec, and the assembly QC is still sorely lacking. I’ve finally got my BCA pistol running like it should, but they sent my gun with a new BCG back from warranty with more out of spec parts that were obviously out of spec to the guy putting them together.
