...at a local junk store. Weaver K3 60-B with very clear glass. Selected a vintage .22 rifle and mounted it.

Read that the 60 B series were Weaver's first pressurized scopes, an attempt to keep them from fogging. It's about the same age as the rifle I put it on.
 
I have vintage v4.5-B on my lever action. Unfortunately seal in broken which I realized when taking it hunting in rain.

many chance weaver will repair or replace it ya think? Inherited from my father
 
I would just use it in good weather... I doubt the current Weaver company can do anything with it. I've heard there are people who can refurbish vintage scopes, but have no experience, nor do I know anyone who has.
