so what exactly is the 'charge' if having a gun on you? Is it just reason to be removed from property or a fine? Can an overnight random declaration actually hold a formal charge (misdemeanor/felony etc)? has the charge been written into law--I dont get that if so.also, how to enforce w/ THAT many people?

Either way, I think if there's any SERIOUS consequences, then EVERYONE should still BRING their guns. When told cannot enter, leave them in your buddy vehicle instead of your own, or under different seat on the bus. Then have THOUSANDS of people report 'stolen guns'....then tell Siri (or whatever phone you use) to set an alarm 23 hours from now, and call the police up and say, 'yeah, case can be closed I actually found the gun, with all the mayhem my friend thought it was his....put it under wrong seat"...w/e...Also confirm the reporting window is 24 hrs. If longer, so the better :).
 
IMO if 20,000 Virginians are showing up Monday then getting a few thousand at a time to show up and demonstrate in front of legislator’s homes could be arranged. It might be time to use the left’s tactics against them. Be at their homes. Make them look their wive’s and kids in the eye and tell them it’s all worth it. Right now the left is on the offensive and there is no fear of these demonstrations. Show up unexpected at homes, offices and their favorite coffee shop and they’ll squirm.

I’m trying to recall what caused Northam to back down a few years ago with his revocation of concealed carry reciprocity.

Yup. Resistance. Go armed, be nice, polite, and dressed cleanly. Also a nice display of over 10,000 folks outside the capital grounds armed to the teeth with rifles and wearing armor would make a follow up statement. Couple this with large demonstrations at the legislator and judges homes. They’ll bet the message, one way or the other.
