Got my IR illuminator in Sunday. Opened it up tonight... Viridian V210 manual zoom IR.

$158 on clearance for $29... I couldn't resist. I did cheap out on the manual zoom. Power zoom was another $20 I think. Totally worth it I'm sure.

I knew they make good stuff. I didn't realize I was getting a whole kit though. Came with the light, rechargable lithium battery w/charger, weapon mount, and pressure switch tailcap.

The build quality of this thing seems very high. Tight fit, smooth operation, positive control buttons...


Interesting side note, my phone camera picks up the spectrum slightly... All you can see with the naked eye is the chip glowing red.

My weapon mounted NV module has a small illuminator on it. I can see pretty well out to 25yds or so, maybe more. With this thing I can see clearly 100yds easy and at full zoom it puts a square IR light out a helluva ways. Bright AF...

Going to spend some time playing with it. I'll try to get some pics through the optic when I get a chance. Also need to dig out my NV monocular and see how much better it is with an illuminator...

The kit I bought a year ago only came with the light, and clamp mount and battery. And it doesn’t fit the tube of my scope, or my barrel. I e got to get creative before I can try it out.
Wish I had seen this kit.

When did you order yours? I placed my order on Dec. 10 and I haven't even received a shipping notification yet. That's assuming they send shipping notifications.

I ordered on the 9th, got an order confirmation that day, got a shipping confirmation on the 11th, delivery on Sunday the 15th(FedEx).

Maybe a call is in order? Did you get an order confirmation?

I hope it went through. They're out of stock now... Wish I had bought all three colors...
 
Just received shipping confirmation on order placed on Dec. 10th,
it was for the light kit as advertised. Such a Deal! :):):)

Got mine today!

Unfortunately, it arrived after I left to go hunting. I'm not sure how long it takes to charge the battery, so unless it got here before lunch or so, I still may not have been able to try it out.

Also, yes, I was impressed by the contents of the box. :D

How did you know? I stuck the battery in the charger and the light was red. It's still red.

I don't remember seeing anything that said it was ready to go.

Well, I guess I don't know if it was full but I was messing with it for like an hour on full blast...

Gotcha. My battery was shrink wrapped. I cut it free and immediately stuck it in the charger. It took well over an hour for the charger light to turn green.

It's all mounted now. I'm ready to hit the woods again!

That sucks... I hate when businesses do that. I know it happens, especially with deals and clearances when a ton of orders hit at once, but I feel like technology is there where it shouldn't happen anymore...
 
With all that being said, this thing is tits at $29.

I regret not scrolling up that qty drop down menu by at least +1. Dang.
 
I recently ordered a Viridian IR light, the FuddEx driver stole it. I called FuddEx and they claim it was delivered, even with 3 years of complaints from 4 households in out neighborhood. :mad:
I then called Viridian and asked them to make a claim, she said FuddEx wouldn't do anything and she sent me a replacement via UPS at no charge (including shipping)! I asked if they had any red or green lights left, they had a couple greens, so I bought one as well, with no freight charges.
I'm quite impressed with their customer service. Call 763-479-4091 to see if they've any green lights left.

Glad to hear the CS is good!

I wish I had bought all three. I just got the IR. It's amazing. Like daylight through my NV. When I got it and realized how nice the quality was it was too late to buy the red and green... Haven't seen a deal even close since.

Call them, she said they had a couple, not enough to advertise on line.
I thought it was you that scooped all three. The IR is like a sports field light through the PVS-14. Much more so than my other light.
My dogs react to the green light, I’d like to see how totes react.
