WA’s ban on high-capacity gun magazines ruled unconstitutional

Same old never-ending attempt by dimwits to evade the constitution. I like the reason the idiot AG used for the high cap magazine ban. If I only have a mag with 10 rounds, after the first 10 are launched, ain’t nobody in a safe space gonna be a hero, while I reload. If there is a hero, interrupting my reload, the 1911 will settle their hash, and I will return to the regularly scheduled broadcast from a fresh 10-round mag into the dreaded assault rifle.
Idiots. Seems the vast majority of Democrats have evolved in a downward spiral. After the New Deal, they must have drank the communist koolaid, or been too close to the nuke tests😲

So, essentially, the same effect as you or I saying any number of our "laws" are unconstitutional. Nobody would dispute it but it'd still be in effect
No the DA in the case has filed an appeal to a higher state court. So the case will move forward and another judgement will be entered. Could go one of three ways.

The next level state court panel agrees with this judge and the DA figures it’s a losing battle and doesn’t seek any more appeals to the state Supreme Court.

The next level state court rules against this judge and the ban stays in effect.

Or and the most likely the appeal court rules with this judge and the DA appeals to the state Supreme Court.

So it’s the hurry up and wait while they kick the can down the road for as long as they can to keep the people from owning property that they should have never been denied.

The only reason to keep playing these stupid court games with the communists is to continue to win the moral war, but eventually …. well, everyone knows what ultimately needs to happen because there is only one way tyrants are stopped.

The Washington AG (Ferguson) is running for governor and is rabidly anti-gun. He will take it all the way to the 9th circus, where the law will be upheld.

The fact he had an injunction from the state Supreme Court within minutes of the judge’s ruling tells you how it will go.

He is the leading candidate for governor.

Ever since freedom week in California the lefty AG's have been weary. They generally have appeals ready before any ruling sitting just outside the send box.

Can we petition the WH to give WA back to Canada? Never been a more deserving bunch of aholes.

If Mt. Rainier covered King County with liquid hot magma, Washington would instantly become one of the best states in the US.
Pierce, King and Snohomish counties, please. Even blue collar Tacoma has become quite liberal. I relocated last fall from King County - I miss the beauty of the area but not the cost, politics and lawmakers. Due to the population distribution, Washington is likely to never again elect anything but a democrat to statewide office.

"Cowlitz County Superior Court Judge Gary Bashor ruled that Washington’s ban on magazines that hold more than 10 rounds violates both the Washington state and U.S. constitutions. "
These are two different things. State constitution, and US Constitution.
The federal ban on large-capacity magazines has ended. However, nine states and the District of Columbia have enacted laws banning large-capacity magazines. These states are California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, and Vermont.

About time. Because reloading takes all day and Columbine wasn't done with 10 rounds mags.
