Anybody ever use one?

I've got a 12 X 16 mini barn that's past due for a paint job, planning on doing it this spring. Nothing fancy, just needs a coat of paint and I'm not really looking forward to it. So I guess I'm looking at the quick & easy way to get it done.

Can you buy a used painter off Craig's list and expect it to work, are they reliable? Or do need to buy a new one, paint my building ( and maybe the second, smaller storage building I have ) and then sell the painter on Craig's List when I'm done?

.

I've got one that I used to paint one house. It's been sitting in the box ever since, your's for a hundred bucks.

They're awesome. I picked one up off Craigslist for next to nothing.

I don't remember if it was a Wagner Power Painter that Dad (my father-in-law) had me use to paint a house years ago, but I plumb wore it out.

Sure makes the painting go a lot faster.

But I wasn't kidding when I said it wore it out.

I don't remember the Wagner model number I own but it has the power unit separate from the sprayer connected by a hose, stick the other hose in the paint bucket and go to town. Much easier that trying to hold and spray with a modular unit and the other hand onto a ladder.

Had a Wagner years ago. Annoyingly LOUD. Need ear plugs and muffs when using it.
My step father rented a high capacity sprayer for big jobs. Feed right from a 5 gallon paint bucket.

I hand painted our 8x16 shed. Took me a few days. :D
