I have a perfect spot in our new (to us) home that my wife and I would love to put up some type of old or vintage rifle or shotgun. Something relatively cheap that may or may not work but just looks old school cool.

Any of you have something similar hanging in your home or reloading room or man cave? Please post up a picture and a description of what it is if you do! Trying to get a direction on this. I should have asked what Cracker Barrel had hanging up above the fireplace this morning when I was there.

I gave my inlaws an old double barrel that doesn't work that they are getting a mount made for. Fuquay Gun where I used to work had a very nice set up that I wish I had a picture of. Rustic wood backing with horse shoes holding an old double barrel in. If I can get a pic I'll post it.

A brace of these, the most beautiful service revolvers ever made, Colt's 1851 Navy .36 cal. (reproductions of course)

A reproduction flintlock or a US Arms/Crescent/Granny Clampett shotgun would do the job. My wall hanger is a M78/81 Swiss Vetterli because I like 'em.

Have this on the wall. Belgium Model 1842 . Would not try to shoot it but it looks good. Been in my family for about 60 years.

I like it and thanks for the picture. That is the same type of wall space/spot we are thinking of using.

I wish I was able to find hooks like what I have. The person that made these died back in the 70's and I have never seen as nice of a set of hooks as these. I would like to hang my reproduction (working) musket in another room.

When I was single, I had a Springfield Trapdoor on the wall.

Buffalo Bill was single and had a trapdoor in his floor.

I have one hanging right over my computer desk, it is one of the old 12ga bolt action Marlin Goose guns. It's got like a 40" barrel and is to long for the safe.

My stepdad has an SKS on his wall that he brought back from Vietnam. The rifles were found buried in the beach.

It looks like every other SKS to me, but the history makes it coolern heck.

I would check the local pawn shops for beater single shot/pump shot guns. Allways nice to have a wall hanger that will work if need be.
