Walmart getting canning supplies in.

I found jars with lids most places around Winston a month or so ago, TSC, Walmart, and Food Lion not great stacks but at least a case or two.

Lids alone took some searching. Stumbled into an ACE hardware and they had a half a shelving unit full. Said it was like a year's worth of backorders and they all got delivered at once.

Found the lids at the Concord walmart and bought a dozen packs for this year. Jars are a dime a dozen at yard sales

Which Ace, I'll buy them out.

I’ve bought several cases of jars at a local ace this year. Was given a bunch of jars and lids last weekend. We’re going on 60 quarts of beans canned. Haven’t started canning tomatoes yet. Everytime I go somewhere that has lids, I buy them

@Ikarus1, which Concord Walmart, on Hwy 29 or on Thunder Rd, Concord Mills? I have jars, just need lids.

Traveled to South GA North Florida area this weekend and scored 4 dozen Kerr branded jars for $9 a dozen. Went to the Wal-Mart in St. Mary's and the WM in Fernandina Beach and got 2 dozen at each store. They both had Ball branded jars.

Fwiw Jardin Corp. owns Ball, Kerr and Golden Harvest so I buy the cheapest knowing they're all made the same. Made in the USA still
