Waltz 22lr resizing die

The PACO tool has been around for a long time, but I'm not sure if he's in business anymore. His old website is no longer functional.

The one plus that I see to the Waltz tool is that you get a consistent & uniform amount of force applied when sizing the ammo; whereas Paco required a hammer strike. Too much or too little force with the Paco tool and you could get inconsistent results.

But you don't. It only takes a tap, but there is no consequence to hitting harder.

Paco's tool allows you to choose the bullet diameter. Waltz' tool sizes to 0.225" only. I don't know if it makes any difference with most rifles. Certainly with lead bullets it makes sense to slightly oversize them.

A interesting study.

Mr. Waltz said this some auto loaders will have some trouble with the .225.
