Hey guys, I've talked to a couple of you about getting on a race track. Some have been in the open forums, some by PM's. Well, here's my offer.
If you want to do a track day, and really learn what you and a bike can do, here's your chance. I will take my CBR600F4i to the track for you, help you through the day, as long as the bike doesn't sell beforehand, haha, and all you have to do is show up ready to ride.

I'll supply the bike, gas, stands, tire warmers, etc. Most of the track orgs have all the gear for rent, and very reasonably priced, and the track day will run you about $210.00 Yes, it's a little pricey, but anything speed related is, lol. If anyone is interested, shoot me a message, and we'll go from there.
Offer only to those on this forum, and obviously, you crash it, you buy the parts to fix it if I already don't have them (I have lots of spares for that bike). In the novice class, you should be fine as they are really good on working with newbies to track riding, and you could work with an instructor for most of the day if you wanted.
Shane.

Rent a stick man for the day, interesting idea . Wonder what it cost me to get some yard work done ?
All kidding aside, this is really nice of Stick to offer this . While I know its not for free but has to cost a LOT less then a Race school where they provide all the equipment. I used to road race years ago and always told the wanna be racers that run on the streets to come join me on a track and to keep up they could. The truth is that If you learn your limits on a controlled, and safe prepped track you will learn what you can push on the streets. This makes for a safer rider and can come home in one piece and happy.
