A little bit of a longshot, but does anyone have a couple M1 Carbine magazine springs that are just taking up space? I could buy them on ebay for $17/10 but I only need like 3 for a little project I'm working on. They can be worn out but preferably not rusted to crap. Doesn't matter what length, I'll need to trim anyway.

3D printing some AAA battery magazines. While the AA battery mags use AR mag springs, AAA need something a little smaller.

Let me know what you have and what you'd like for them. Thanks!

The springs? No, I want to make 3 aaa battery magazines. Each one will use a single spring.

Ah... I see you are getting ready to move to California or NY. What ammo also fits?

Funny because when I asked a friend if he had any extra springs and told him it was for a AAA mag, he sends me this saying a AAA won’t fit.

So I had to give him more detail on exactly what I was doing and why this spring should work.

Haha, no sales. I don't design them, I just find stuff on Thingiverse.com and print it for myself and friends. CR123 would be awesome, in a Glock 45 mag'esq package.

Those are kind of ugly IMO. I like the PMAG/Hexmag 'esque design much better. And $20 is an OK price but borderlines ridiculous.

Just sayin’ if you wanted a little secondary income, you might could give them some competition.

I’d have to obtain the rights to use the design for commercial purposes unless I had zero integrity like some of the people on eBay and Etsy who sell other people’s designs.

One of the great things about 3D printing is that practically everything is open source or free to use/share. When you begin profiting off of it then things change.
