See this movie. Now available on amazon prime. It's no exaggeration to call this movie "great".

I'm surprised there isn't a thread here already about this flick. From the story, to the acting, to the fight scenes, it's 5 stars across the board. Take it from a VERY critical movie fan. You will like it.

I don't think so. Unless it was at the very last of the end credits, the movie didn't say that. Or, I missed it.

Youre right, I got it confused with The Fighter, my bad (another fighting-based movie about brothers who are dysfunctional as hell)

Thank you for the recommendation. I saw this movie mentioned other places before, but I thought it would be they typical "fighter gets beat/killed by bad guy, fighter's brother/friend/whatever goes through a training montage and beats the bad guy" type movie. It is definitely not that at all. Fantastic movie. Definitely worth a watch.

Thank you. I was skeptical, too. Then, I read some reviews (the cream of them from reviewers who'd posted hundreds of reviews) that said this movie should be on everyone's TopX list. IMDB had it rated at like an 8.2 I think, which is in the elite cinema range for them.

I'm gonna watch it again, and try to find something to criticize.

I think I'm going to watch it again so I can enjoy it for the movie it actually is, and not the one I kept expecting it to be. Also, I think my wife might like it, as it is more about the people and not so much about the fighting.

Just got finished with it. It was excellent.

Watched Dunkirk, american made and warrior today. Just one of those days.

Didn’t care for Dunkirk. I felt like they did disservice to that day in the filming and hated the time jumping crap.

American Made is believable if you know some of the people that I do. It was really well done IMO.

But warrior was the best of the day.
