Anyone with a WASR10 upgrade their trigger from the Century RAK-1 that comes in it? Or know of a good trigger group to replace it? Just gonna say I like the binary trigger option, but I think I'm gonna keep it regular semi-auto, at least for now.
Before I look, does Lee's Mags have them?Honestly, the RAK-1 is a decent trigger in my opinion. Tapco also makes a solid AK trigger - I filed off the hump on mine in my WASR and polished it up, and it's very crisp and smooth. Check out ALG for other costlier aftermarket options - they make several AK models and all are widely approved.
And I'll go ahead and say it before someone else does. My personal favorite? Go OG and get yourself a surplus Romanian FCG. They aren't fancy by any means, but they feel great in AKs, they get the job done, and they'll never let you down.
I will say the new RAK-1 trigger does feel pretty good, I wouldn't mind polishing it but I'm not knowledgeable on taking the fcg apart
Regarding 922r, I've never heard of anyone getting pinched for being out of compliance. Ever. But if you're still legitimately concerned - and this is totally unrelated to Romanian parts - I've heard that "USA" is pretty easy to dremel into a piece of metal...
