Anyone watch the premier? Just finished it. I never read the comics. Didn't really understand the movie either. Looks like this takes place well after the movie/comics? So, I'm not sure how to take it... Pushing racism/ race relations hard... Don't know if that's based on the comics or not.
 
The comic was set in 1985. There were some references to it in the show but Rorshak wasn't a white supremicist. In fact there wasn't a racial angle at all.

I'm not sure this series deserves my time.

No way! I was very excited for this series. Can't believe they made him a white supremacist. He is such a great character with an interesting story. Just make a new character. Marvel does it all the time. They wanted a millennial lesbian in deadpool and just made the perfect fit.

Should be before the movie if Rorschach is alive.

Watch the movie a second time. It's pretty confusing on the first run even for a fan but you pick up more once you know the story.

Rorschach isn't in it. The skinheads all wear a Rorschach hood.

Rorschach is dead. It's a skinhead group that took their views from a manifesto he wrote supposedly...

Makes me curious if it's really related to the comics either... Not that I care. Never read them so they aren't canon to me. I just like super hero/comic stuff, especially gritty ones. So, I'm hoping it will be done well and not just be another PC crapfest...
