Who's shot this match recently? It's held on third Saturdays. Looks like they may have a BUG sidematch after the regular match. Register at 9, safety brief at 10. Mountaineer Classic is in July, so they might have some cool stages for the June match.

I might go this month if the weather is good. Clinton match is canceled that weekend.

I've shot there many times. Nice range and stages. Some stages can get very, ah, interesting...

Great group with quite a few that shoot Foothills also.

I think Asheville is about two hours away. The tentative plan for a couple of us now is to go depending on weather and if they have the BUG side match afterwards. I’m waiting on a reply to an email I sent Monday evening to the match director.

Just an FYI, from the MD at Watauga-

We don't have an online sign up for our local matches. Sign up is done that morning in the clubhouse. We usually have 20 to 40 shooter at our local matches. We don't limit our local match. Everyone shoots.
We haven't been having the side matches lately due to lack of interest. But if we have enough this month we can set one up.

This is what happened at the monthly match prior to the IDPA Coastal Carolina Classic at Ant Hill last year. We got to shoot some of the sanctioned match stages in advance.
