We have been condemned to hades...

It does get toasty in there. I was shocked to see how many would show up for matches outdoors last summer when it would be in the 90's. I'm going to sit out a match this Saturday with this forecast.
Come get you some of this 89% sunshine humidity this morning in the SE Corner.

Walked outside and it hasn't even hit 90 yet and sweat was pouring within a few minutes.

I'm not working today and didn't go fishing, that's how miserable it's going to be.

Okay ... 11 freakin' o'clock in the blessed PM and 82° ... I'm thinkin' Hades is about right.

Just got back.

You gotta go find the cool! This was last Tuesday:
Dawes Glacier.jpg

Dawes Glacier, after leaving Skagway, AK. Top deck of the NCL Jewel; they served hot spiced wine to warm us up! :D

Great place to turn 55 & celebrate 18 years together.

Now... back to the grind.

If you haven't been you owe it to yourself to go. It is an experience you'll never forget. Wife and I took her mom and our two teenagers up in 2008. Even the natives were complaining about how old it was at the end of July. Flew to Fairbanks, took the train down thru Denali (HUGE!!!) and into Anchorage. Then down to Seward for the cruise thru the Inside Passage and saw the glaciers and Skagway, Juneau and another small town before debarking in Vancouver for the flight home. Took two weeks, but was well worth the trip. Now my granddaughter lives in Anchorage. I need to go visit her.

Ah I see it was brutal down here in the Carolinas too

That sounds like a fantastic trip!

It was fantastic. Most cruise lines have the land/cruise tours. You can cruise first and then take the land tour, or do the land first and then cruise. Worth every penny we spent. The whole trip makes for a long story, though. And FOOD!!!! Lots and LOTS of FOOD!!!!!

You have a cabin your wife won't go to! You are my freaking hero. And a genius.

Yes it's a great cabin. Unfortunately a bunch of yayhoots nearly completely destroyed his 100yd target when I was there.

Guess he should have had a smaller target for those yahoo's. My guess is with all the over medication going on a smaller target might have saved the day. :D
