Not that ATF wouldn't ban anything they can get away with; it's just that the timing is clearly election related.
I disagree that calling and writing don't do any good, without people calling and writing the BATF would have banned M855 5.56 ammo under Obama but enough people raise a stink that they backed off .
If Biden wins, I think this’ll be a low on the list concern!
Pretty sure we will get some outright executive bans on many things!

Interesting theory on ATFs shenanigans on form 1 changes this summer that possibly tie in with their recent stance change on pistol braces...
The word is the length of pull (trigger to farthest extended position of brace) is being discussed hard ... 13.5” use to be the standard before the SBR label is supposedly mentioned.
Side note ... you put a Law Tactical adapter in between your receiver and a brace it adds 1.3” to LOP so that may very well be another piece the ATF starts to harp on ... even thought the AR is not suppose to be fired with the stock folded who knows what crazy crap the ATF could pull.

You can buy blocking inserts to restrict SBA braces on how far they can extend when using he law folder.
None of that will matter with the explanation I read on arfcom tonight. Barrel length restrictions, sight restrictions, weight restrictions, no rifle caliber ammunition, magazine size between 20-100, etc. they want to completely redefine a handgun/pistol.

Trump appointed the head of the ATF, Trump has been far from a friend of the 2nd Amendment. When someone shows you who they are believe them.
My wife showed me something this morning that claimed the ATF is about to retroactively put AR pistols (braced or not) into the SBR category and require the same registration/approval. I hope that was just a fake?

I don't believe your company is as large as "The Executive Branch" as well as dealing with all the "Side Shows" and "Planned Distractions" that keep popping up.
He nominated a person to run the ATF and ended up retracting the nomination.

How much is it gonna cost me if i have to register every thing I own that falls into this category.
This and the looming election where I may have to put up or shut up if the nightmare of a democratic win becomes reality and gun control becomes the norm.
