I was sitting around the loading room yesterday morning just cleaning up and checking inventory of supplies when I came across an unopened box of Berger 210 VLD HUNTING 30 caliber bullets. It took a second for my old brain to cypher through that until it stopped at 30-378 Wby. So I went to the safe, pulled out the ole gal and started loading some ammo., She likes 98 GRAINS of H1000 with those 210's. I found a few photos of what she can do and started loading up some ammo for deer season. I have a big 500 yard field so I'm going to put up some kind of stand and see if I can't whack something this year as it's been a few years since I have hunted with this rifle. I did take it out west once for elk and mule deer. At one time it was the fastest 30 caliber cartridge out there but I'm not sure anymore but she easily throws a 210 grain bullet past 3,000 fps. A few pics including a 3 shot group at 450 yards.
