Well,, it's better than nothing.

Then dry fire slower. Practice hitting, not missing.
I think I've shot three matches with him in the same squad. Make no mistake, he's sandbagging us here. He shoots WAY better than he is sayin'.
:D

I can see at least 3 code violations with that extension-cord rig you got going to the door opener.

I think next week I'm going to start training with the 34, recoil is so much more manageable with it vs the VP9.
I didn't notice how much closer my strong hand is to the slide until tonight. Pics coming

I may drive to H20 tomorrow if you are around and want to work on that grip.

Some people have to work for a living:D Acually I was tell them I wasn't coming in tommorow but then got tied up with some emergency work related stuff for Saturday . So I'm going in now to get everything ready for Saturday because I have better places to be on Saturday:cool:

It absolutely is better than nothing.
And indoors is a nice place to be now that we're gettin into the summertime groove.

There is nothing wrong with your set up. Your title says it all. I have some hard men here that are way above average shooters. I WISH I could get them to do just what you have set up there. I cannot stress the importance of doing something shooting related EVERY day. It must become as natural as taking a step, or opening your vehicle door. When you can practice with somebody who can watch you from the side. Lotsa good feedback. Also, try to develop shooting friends who are at or above your level. Most important...surround yourself with shooters who want to see YOU get better.
I know shooting every day is not really even a practical suggestion, BUT doing what you're doing everyday is absolutely attainable. No reason every person interested in getting better can't do 100 presentations a day. I wish all shooters on this Forum could come every day. The sad part is I have folks who could. Or 4 times a week or 3.
To steal a good line....JUST DO IT !
