We pulled off anther great and safe meet and greet at Battery Oaks. It was a great turnout of great people. We had some rain mid-day but it didn't dampen spirits and appetites. Some good planning by @BatteryOaksBilly and Ronnie Sue and the food was moved into the garage and out of the weather. And speaking of food, there was enough to feed an army!

It was good to see old friends and meet new ones. Thanks to all that came and thanks to all that brought food to share. You guys are too good. I hope that everyone makes it back home safely and I'll see you next time.
 
What an awesome day. And I enjoyed seeing the smiles on the faces of the kids as well.

Life is good. And I'm glad that today was a day that allowed me to join all of you fine folks.
 
Sure wish I could have been there... just returned from pheasant hunting in MN, and had work scheduled. A friend helped me demolish my deck for replanking...

RS and I both remarked how Wonderful it is for the Old Place to come alive with laughter, gunfire and friends. Thanks to all that sent us our wonderful gift. You touch this old man's heart with your generosity. If any of you start this way during the wonderful Thanksgiving and Christmas time Please stop by and visit for a moment. A member said to me today..This place stops time. It's like when we were little again. ...What a wonderful sentiment.
 
What a great event and so worth the 3+ hour drive. Wayyy too much good food and some really good shooters who hurt my pride. I didn’t embarrass myself against the Wizard but he was still standing in the end.
Big Thanks to Billy and RS for having all of us and all who cooked and organized.

One of my most memorable Christmas gifts was a set of six shootets and cowboy hat when i was about 7 years old. Felt that way again today hanging around all you gun slingers. Thanks so much.
 
Awesome time & wonderful to get to meet so many of the folks I was hopin' would be there, as well as all the unexpected new friends. Still trying to take it all in, actually. Shame the rain shortened the festivities, but the Friday night crowd had a big time & nobody got hurt too bad by the mason jar.

@BatteryOaksBilly & the lovely Ronnie Sue are gracious hosts & I just wanna say thank y'all again for your hospitality & showin' us miscreants a good time.

Unfortunately I was under the impression that kids were not allowed which was the one and only reason I didn't come this year (and last year) with my now 8 year old son. Stay at home Dad duties and all. Bummer.
