I started wet tumbling a few months ago. Started with the harbor freight double drum to keep my initial investment low, but I'm finding my volume far exceeds its capacity. For those who have upgraded or started with a real tumbler, what are you using with some capacity. I have heard thumblers tossed around. Any others?

Frankford Arsenal Rotary Tumbler is what I use. Don't decap or use pins, 30-45 mins using armor all wash and wax and some citric acid, brass comes out looking new. I think it's advertised to fit a thousand .223 cases, probably holds at least that many 9mm cases.

The F.A.R.T. is what I started with as well. I bought the single HF tumbler, planning to use it for suppressor baffles, and have never used it. Deciding to get into reloading earlier this year and knew I'd need a bigger tumbler.

The Frankfort is what I am getting for my next step in my reloading adventure. It was on Amazon for under $150 and came with 5lbs of pins

You know I have always used pins, but I tried it without last week. The inside of the cases aren't as nice, but the results are better than acceptable, and you don't have to seperate the pins which also makes the rinsing go faster. Still not sure that I'm switching for good, but if I get in a hurry I will do this and put the decapping pins back in my sizing dies.

If you don't mind shelling out some extra coin, BigDawg tumblers are supposed to be pretty good and will clean large volumes of brass. This guy had his plans on AR15.com some years ago, so if you're handy you can do the research for a home-built solution.

Frankford Arsenal tumbler. I've had great luck with it.

It will hold about 1300 9mm brass. Not sure about 223, but probably 800 or more I am guessing. Generally, it will hold about 10 lbs of brass.
