What are you doing for Halloween 2022?

Last couple of years we weren‘t home for Halloween so didn‘t even set any decorations out. Looks like this year we will be here, so I hauled out some of the stuff from the basement and set part of it up. Still need to do the projectors and sound closer to the 31st. I’ve got something like this running in one window upstairs and two big floating blinking eyes in two side by side windows on the side of the house.




We do a little outside, not nearly as much as some friends who setup full haunted house builds every year

I’m not putting out decoration but I have 4 people on the street that have many thousands of dollars in huge decorations. We will have hundreds of trick or treat kids and adults. We will go thru over a hundred dollars in candy. Last year I gave out lighted foam sticks and activated neon bracelets.

There used to be more in the bowl (Costco item). I ate a few but we also gave a couple out to some kids who showed up to the house really late, had crappy costumes and were too old to be trick or treating.

We (she) just decorated today. Two ghouls in the tree, three giant spiders on the porch and some ceramic jack-o-lanterns with solar lights in the flowerbed.
Inside we have a few things. A fancy looking wicked witch doll, some candles that are pumpkin shaped and a candy bowl.

We don't really see any kids begging for candy here. I think they all target the homes behind mine that cost 2x as much.

see if you can attach a few small rare earth magnets to it and tape some others to your rings... that way you can send it where you want

Wearing camouflage, hiding in the bushes in my front yard, paintball gun at ready. Trying to keep those pesky goblins off my newly aerated and seeded front lawn.....Actually, sitting on the back porch, sipping Basel Hayden Dark Rye while the wife and daughter hand out candy (rough estimate is 50% they eat, 50% goes to the kids).

I told her the tights must be green and shiny, and to pick out my fluffiest, most realistic socks to stuff the crotch.
