What are you drinking?

Can anyone upload a pic? Was trying to upload a pic of Oban Distillers Edition and website isn't cooperating. Pic may be forthcoming, in the meantime just use your imagination.

That stuff is GOOD. Wife always gets me a bottle of Oban for our anniversary & she got me this a couple years in a row (a 2013 & 2014- the '13 is incredible).

I'm enjoying some of this Troegg's Perpetual Imperial Pale Ale. 7.5% ABV & 85 IBU. Good stuff & got some of their Doppelbock on deck.

This is pretty damned tasty, too. Troegenator Doppelbock. 8.2% ABV.

I wish it was available here, but the best Doppelbock I've ever had came from a monastery outside Munich. Klosterbrauerei Andechs Doppelbock Dunkel.

Working on one of these at moment. Very tasty, as is every other offering I've tried from Lagunitas.

BIL left some of these at the house. I'm not really a fruity drinker but after workin in the yard all day, this really hit the spot. And at 8 percent, I feel alot better after a couple. Onto Bulleit bourbon now...

Us budget minded volume drinkers need to watch our nickels and dimes.

:D

Many choices....
But Auchentoshan American Oak won...at least for now.

Started with Gin for the thehigh temps on back deck, went to bourbon, and finishing with beer.

Thought the plumbing need a testing...

That could be a dangerohs shelf you have there. Be careful.
Ive not ever had any trouble with them... some of the Kentucky fellows seem shady, so i I keep a eye on them.

Finally!

Tonight it is Jameson caskmates. I just picked up a bottle and took my mom out to eat. Im going to run my two miles then relax over a few fingers of wiskey.

Pendelton Canadian Whiskey. It is ok, but I'll take Tyr Connel or the Speyburn in my stash over this anytime. Then again, this is a $20 bottle so I didn't really expect greatness. It is not bad, but I'd probably only but it again for a change of pace. And no, that damage to the bottle has not been all done tonight.

There are lots of $8.99 to $12.99 Merlots that are perfectly fine. Below $8 it fets sketchy. If you have to go there an Italian Chianti or Sangiovese is usually safer.

Liberty Creek. Usually around $6.99/bottle. Not bad at all.

i was dry last night . just goats milk for me.

jim beam rye for this evening. that "pre-prohibition" stuff that's on sale this month.

IMG_5408.JPG I'm going to be having a glass of this in just a few minutes.

A buddy of mine gave it to me for my bday. Talk about the perfect gift. Something I really enjoy but wouldn't buy for myself very often.
