What are you drinking?

Jameson's Caskmates tonight. Thomasville ABC is running out, I think they have one more bottle so this will probably be the last I see of it.

A scotch called Sheep Dip. The name is from a time when distillers had to pay a tax on homebrewing Whisky. They would store their liquor in barrels marked "sheep dip". This was the chemical concoction they used to delouse their
Sheep before shearing. The legend is that no self respecting tax collector would stick his nose in one of those barrels.
The scotch was reasonably prices and was good. Forgot to take a pic. Sorry.

Ok got to find that as a gift for friends that raise sheep.

Finishing off a few leftover Sierra Nevada Pale Ales & Sam Adams Winter Lagers this afternoon. Going to get some Rogue Dead Guy Ales for this evening!

I had an "Old Fashion" while on vacation last week made with blood orange puree and imported cherries.

Ordered the cherries upon return from vacation and tried to replicate the recipe this
evening. Not quite the same but darn good. I will continue to work out the recipe throughout this evening.

Found some Pilot Mountain Pale Ale that I'd never seen before....my kinda beer!

On another note...Sierra Nevada's "Beer Camp" Golden IPA really sucks...I have eleven more, and dread the thought of finishing them, but can't bring myself to pour them out.

The Miller's Toll Clone I made. I missed getting the carbonation right and it is flat as a pancake, but will still knock you man genitalia in the dirt

Anyone have this Jameson Black Barrel?

I bought some last night. I don't really see where my extra $10 went other than the marketing. Ya, tastes a little different on the first couple of sips, but the regular Jameson suits me fine. I was hoping it would be the sweet spot between Jameson and Laphroaig regarding flavor and price, but I'm not seeing it.

I could just have a very unrefined palate. All the whiskey reviewers seem to love it.

Guess what's for sale in Fuquay! Had this in West Palm, Fla. Remembered it being delicious! Been looking for it ever since. YAY!!!

Just back from Apex Wings.

MY LIPS ARE ON FIRE.

I hope there's enough Coors Lite in the frig to put out this fire, because I'm sure not going to drink milk after those two 20 oz. Red Oaks.
Doing so could achieve enough sustained rectal thrust to break free of the blue planet's Newtonian hold on my large self.

Sipping on some Bulleit Rye. Also have some regular Bulleit on hand. Don't ask me to choose a favorite though, both are really good.

We're painting the master bath. Need a steady ✋. Vaulted ceiling and plant shelves with lots of trim.

Slowly sipping a boring V&T.

I found a jar of apple pie from a Christmas batch ... just a sip or two thought ... it hits like a sledgehammer.
