True enough. However, if you forget your knife you could still have this on your key chain. Hard to leave your house without your keys lol.Pretty neat, but it I’ve seen a lot of knives that come with a windshield breaker and seatbelt cutter,it’d make more sense for me to carry one of those than a knife and that, I just don’t have much extra room to carry more stuff.

Yes, I reload both .38 SPL and .44 SPL shotshells for the copperheads and water moccasins around the house. Need to make some .41 Mag shotshells next time I'm home. These is my second 442. Had my first 91-06'.nicee, I used to pocket carry a 442-1 when I was at home as well. But i sold it because I’m not a very big fan of revolvers and it was kinda bulky in my pocket, so I bought a lcp and it’s so much more convenient to carry all the time and doesn’t print at all. are those shot shells I see by the way?
3 seems to be common for LEOs and when I OCed I used a duty belt that had a double mag pouch so hence 2 spares. Plus we have a saying in Germany "all good things come in threes!".Question, why carry 2 spare mags? Not trying to be rude just genuinely curious, I usually carry 1 spare mag or a spare gun like a lcp just incase of malfunction.
I would not worry too much about printing, even when OCed a lot of folks didn't even notice.I wish I was able to carry that big of a gun on a daily basis, for me it’s always grip length that makes it print, a 26 is probably the biggest I can carry without printing, or a 19 in the winter when I wear more clothes/hoodies.

That's a different story then, in that case I guess I would not carry. My job is the same and I don't.I don’t worry too much but my job doesn’t allow me to carry by policy. so I’m just trying to be careful

Uhmn, if they have a policy then it's not legal for you to carry. It’s not illegal to carry at work so I do, worst that can happen is I get fired, I can always get another job but I can’t get another life.
On any private premises where notice that carrying a concealed handgun is prohibited by the posting of a conspicuous notice or statement by the person in legal possession or control of the premises. § 14- 415.11(c)Do you know what statute you heard that from ? store policy is not the law, my jobs no firearm policy is only for employees anyways, customers are fine to carry, and it’s not a firearm free zone and I don’t work in a state or federal owned building. It’s 100% legal for me to carry, only thing they can do is fire me if they notice.

Honestly I would be surprised if closer examination of your contract would not reveal that it refers to company policies being adhered to and "no guns" being buried somewhere in there. It's 2022 and I think you will be hard pressed to find any companies anymore that don't prohibit some obvious things (guns, booze, drugs, smoking). If you work at one of those, I congratulate you. You are however correct that NC downgraded the offense to an infraction so the penalty is mild. It’s not even in the employment contact, it said nothing about it, it was just something my manager said I missworded it when I said policy. Also i Never signed anything of the sorts .and there are no “ no firearm” signs posted at my job.
Even if I did it’s just an infraction. Not a real crime. The most they can do is ask me to leave( which I will if asked) and if I don’t I’ll get trespassed.
What they don’t know can’t hurt them.
There's that Rex Applegate Combat Folder! Best knife that ever got issued to me...

That was my daily carry for 3 yrs in Afghanistan. Open or concealed. The Gerber was correctly identified and smaller is a Old Timer 340T. Loved that Gerber till I lost it on a C130 at night. Now have a G19 here.I wish I was able to carry that big of a gun on a daily basis, for me it’s always grip length that makes it print, a 26 is probably the biggest I can carry without printing, or a 19 in the winter when I wear more clothes/hoodies.

Surprisingly soft shooter for its size and weight. I have run it in matches as well. I owned an XDS in .45 right after they came out a decade ago and found it to be unpleasant to shoot. Trigger slap, and I didn’t like that course, aggressive grip texture. The Shield is nothing like that in my opinion, although I did take some 220 grit to the side of the grip that rides my hip because I wear it under a shirt in warm weather without a tee shirt behind it.how is the shield in 45 ? I wanted one before but I figured a 45 coming out of that small of a gun would just be unpleasant to shoot.
