What have you recently purchased that is firearms related?

As Button Pusher said, you paid good $ for the damn thing, make them fix it!

There is no reason any reputable manufacturer would allow a product that does not work!

If you got it for $60.00, that might be one thing, but I will bet you paid at least $75.00.
Don't even try that $75.00 mess....I paid at least $90.00 for that thing! LoL.

Ammo. On clearance. Walmart.

But I have no idea how much. Bought some from three different stores, but two separate trips (on the way to work, and again on the way home) to the same one.

Some combination of:
9
45
40
38
300
More.

1600 rounds of 55gr .223 in 100rd bulk packs for $15/ea
60 rounds of some kind of 55gr hollow point .223 for $9/20.

lots of ammo on walmart clearance
and i just mailed away a check for a no-rush delivery of a magnum research mr9, 4.5" barrel version, new in box. Haven't seen one like it come up for sale in a while.
Yes, it has a different make/model and basically it's a walther p99. So is my sw99, and my other sw99, and my p99, and my other p99, and my ppq is only a slight upgrade - as is my other ppq.
I think you see where I'm going with this.

The one they sent back with it, no name, and CMC others.

RIAs are checkmates. CMC is now owned by Wilson but they use the old design. Have you tried Metallform or Tripps?

A pretty comprehensive test was done at Battery Oaks several months ago, and was reported here.

Many ammos, magazines and shooters were tried, no malfunctions of any kind through over 500 rounds. It's a huge mystery! LOL.

I'll decide eventually what to do about replacing or repairing (again).....

If it ran 100% through 500 rounds with lots of variables I am sad to say it is most likely the Indian not the arrow. I have had good luck with Tripps, which are expensive, and Metalforms which can be had on the cheap. These are marked Zenith but are made by Metalform. They run great in my GI No Name and my Dan Wesson Valkyrie. They are only $15 a pop from CDNN. https://www.cdnnsports.com/1911-10rd-9mm-zenith-magazine.html?___SID=U#.XfT_pT3QiUk

I have always found that 1911 9mm mags with the spacer at the back are the ones that feed well. Metalform, Wilson & Tripps all use this design.

You're probably right! This thought has crossed many minds over the months of problems with this gun....lol.

You should just loan it to a more experienced shooter and let them shoot it for a month. In that time a 1000 rounds would tell you if the gun is good to go. If they don't have issues you have your answer. I am sure someone close to you would volunteer to do that for you.

My former trainer kept it for many weeks and shot it when he could....no issues. He's one of the best shooters I know, so it was in good hands.

However, many good shooters I know had issues with it eventually, all documented in various threads of mine, and I did send it back after that. After a new extractor, I'm still having the same issue.

I'll probably send off for a replacement and see what happens to that one.

Always! It's fine for a few hundred rounds then has a few issues, then is fine again. Not a big deal, I'll probably just get the gun replaced soon.

Or maybe just the barrel. Or the upper part....as you can see I have decisions to make. lol. I'm having a hard time letting it go, because when it's good, it's SO good! LOL.
Mine was misbehaving only while running on the clock in matches. Could not be replicated at the bench or in a range session. Yea, weird.
I’d say it’s me, but none of my others misbehave while only on the clock at matches.

So I did the same thing I always do. Sold it for nickels and dimes, and happier for it.

Layaway, 90 days to pay
Even with layaway, can't afford it. I was looking at a higher-end 1911 9mm than the RIA I have, and even under $1,000 and putting it on layaway, can't do it.

Take your time. I am not getting that P210 either. It is a big chunk of change to drop on a single pistol. LOL 2020 is going to be a lean year for me on the gun front. I plan on shooting more buying fewer guns. :D

Same here. Aside from a few projects, I'm gonna try to convert my gun budget into an ammo budget. Maybe get back into reloading.

FWIW I only run SA mags because that's what I have, I forget who makes them. The only ammo that I have had any failures with is Ranger +p+ in 147 gr. They occasionally did not go fully into battery. I was surprised too and it must be the angle of the projectile lip. After SPENDING considerable cash experimenting that was the only jhp to give me fits. All the fmj rounds had no issues. Probably 8-900 rounds through my EMP at this point with no issues other than what I mentioned.

Nice. I am thinking about an At-One stock for my CZ 6.5 Grendel Varmint. How do you like it?
It is heavier than I thought it would be, but it shoulders very nicely, and balanced well. Going to have to look at the adjustment mechanism for length of pull, it seems a little unstable at first glance, but yesterday was super busy and I haven’t had a chance to really get in to it yet or shoot it, that will have to wait until next weekend. Overall though first impression is it feels and looks really nice.

I got me a new side draw holster for my 4 inch K frames. I'd like to thank @gunbelt and the horse that provided the hide for this holster. It's an incredible piece of workmanship. It fits like a glove (not a moccasin) and carries well on the belt. I'm very proud of it.

Five PS90 mags off SigForum...thanks to a heads-up by a CFF member. I’m not a member on SF, but seller also had a AR15.com account so at least I could provide some history/reputation.
