A 1933 Springfield M1903, throat and muzzle both measure 1+. This is the only pic so far. Got it at the CMP Marksmanship Park in Talladaga on Wednesday. They had a lot of 03's, P17's and Winchester and IHC Garands.

I didn't have an '03 to go with the Garands and Carbine.

Favorite of mine! Congrats!

For me they are tweeners sort big for a subcompact with low capacity but the fit the hand great, point well and can have excellent triggers! For me they shoot well.

I’ve not found one I could afford when I had anything to spend. Someday.

I got sort of lucky on this one for todays market.

Got a couple pics of the '03. I believe it has an original barrel, SA 9-31, based on some research. It has a scant stock, not original to a 1933 model, but is nice walnut. Stock is a stamped RA-P, Raritan Arsenal rebuild, probably WWII.

I love it when the Fedex lady who is hauling 2,000 230gr FMJ bullets off the truck asks me "Are you still shooting a lot?" She knows exactly what is in those packages. LMAO ;):D

One of the UPS delivery drivers was this oldish, maybe 90lb lady. Before I could get outside, she was half way across the front yard. Between breaths, she asked, "What's in this box?" I told her it was pillows. She asked how many. I said, "A thousand."

"Bullbleep! I know what the hell is in here!"

I keep finding boxes of ammo that are calling me to buy them.

Do it!!!! I have not been buying ammo but bullets to reload. I am not buying factory 9mm until it gets back to $.20 -$.22.

I got a thousand 125 grain minor power factor 9mm for $.25 rd for matches. In this mess, I thought I was stealing it.

These days for minor power loads $.25 is a buy it now price! Well done. Should have bought 2K.

A few weeks ago, I took pity on a guy and sold him 7 boxes of Herters for $100. Today he asked if I have any more to sell.

I wanted to ask whether I could buy it back.

The answer would be yes but they are about 115Grs lighter.

I hope to have some items to add to this thread on Thursday.

Picked up a sweet little J.P Sauer model 1930 Behördenmodell from Mid South. My best estimate is 1935 for date of manufacture. It falls into the serial range (206xxx - 216xxx) of pistols that were made for the Prussian police but it does not have the appropriate proof marks. Mine is serial 210xxx.

Overpriced magazines.

The new to me P239 showed up today. It is pretty much like new in the box. The rails are perfect with no wear. Therese are some slight handling marks on the slide but you really have to look for them. These guns are tweeners by todays standards. Sort of like the S&W 3913. Single stack 9mm that are larger than smaller double stacks like the P365 but they just feel great in my hands. Hope to get to the range in the next few days.
