What have you recently purchased that is firearms related?

Is that the 9mm or .45. I just got the 9mm model. Clean well before using factory coating is thick. Shoots well but low for the first 150 trouble free rounds. Supposedly the POA will come up once broke in (400 - 500) rounds,
9mm

Got a deal I couldn’t pass up on this whiskey 5 2-10. Putting it on an 18” build I’m doing to slay some coyotes

Where I'm at, they changed the clocks a week earlier. Can I still use that code?

But that doesn't seem right. Wouldn't I be cheating since daylight savings has been over here 10 days already?

:D

Assuming they'll honor that code for me, is that ammo good for shooting at trees?

I have not fired any at trees, they don't move! Their ammo is good quality, uses CCI primers and goes bang.
They ship from Seattle but are based in Lewiston, ID.

went to the gun show in columbia sc today... was lamenting how it seems the gun shows are now the most expensive place to buy... then it happened...

guy offers an M1 Garand to a vendor... I follow him as he walks off... I say "You said you have a Garand for sale?" he shows me some pics on his phone, we walk out to his truck, I bought a Springfield Garand, dated October 1942, green canvas carry bag, M1 bayonet in an M8A1 scabbard (the bayonet looks like one of the arsenal cut downs... 6.5 inch blade not the 10 inch of the original M1)...

but either I stole this outfit from this man or he stole it and sold it to me... he said it was a consignment from an estate... I got all this for $400... Stock is in good shape, with P in circle cartouche visible on the pistol grip... stock looks like it was refinished.... but the action works, the hammer falls, and the barrel (dated 1/48) is not plugged... lol ... Rifling looks worn, so I would be interested in seeing what the muzzle and throat gauge out at, but for $400 I am not complaining... I think I could turn it around right now for $800 or $900 easily, and it may be worth more than that once I get into it.

Congrats on the score!

Dad and I used to go to the Columbia show every year. We were going to the temple and the fairgrounds, then just the fairgrounds, then stopped. It boiled down to a 3 hour round trip to pay to park, see the same stuff, and be held hostage by the high prices. So, we quit going.

I was told Joyner Sales was no longer setting up at the shows. Did you notice if they were there or not?
I did not see their booth, but to be honest, I wasnt paying specific attention for them... and I went thru in pretty much a whirlwind, as I had other commitments yesterday.

Got a Midwest industries Blast Can for my AR15 pistol. 2 great quality chamber brushes from Brownells. Both came from my LGS.
