What have you recently purchased that is firearms related?

My wife gave the go ahead for an impulse birthday buy today. Not sure I'm gonna keep it though. I don't really want to burn through any ammo to vet another carry pistol.

I recently sent one of my pistols back to the factory for evaluation and the response was "everything's fine" but they strangely decided to replace the recoil spring assembly for no apparent reason, so . . . . .

I bought a metal recoil assembly to replace the polymer one that was "fine" before being replaced by the factory.

Most companies will replace non standard parts with standard OEM parts.

@Geezer - They make excellent little trainers. Mine has been reliable on all ammo I've thrown at it including the bulk Federal and Winchester stuff. I'm looking into upgrading the sights on it as well.

Let me know how you like yours
This makes #2. The other one is like yours, not picky with ammo.

Absolutely. But I sent the gun back to the factory with the stock polymer RSA, which they replaced with a new stock polymer RSA, even though they said everything was fine with the gun.

When I got the gun back with the new stock polymer RSA, I immediately ordered a metal RSA, which is an optional factory part.

Call me cantankerous, but it did not sit well with me that they said everything was fine with the gun but replaced a part for no reason.

One of these.

...in 357. Have a silencer sitting here waiting.

Now I guess I better find some 38 & 357 ammo. And figure out how a lever rifle works. And what optic I might want...and what it takes to mount one.
I'm gonna need to borrow that

Leather sling and pair of sling mounts

A pair of DL 1/3N batteries, one each to zero out the battery tome on both my Aimpoint PRO's

Leather lever wrap

(glad I could type that instead of having to say it fast a couple times)

stopped at a pawn shop and browsed their pile of unlabeled mags.
Picked up 2 unused P99/PPQ mags for $18 each - not a GREAT deal, but not bad.
After the guy ran my card through i mentioned wanting to be the only guy with walther mags in town when the boog hits after the election. He immediately became visibly uncomfortable. :D

Lately I have bought an Oryx chassis, and a Rifle Basix SAV-2 trigger for my Savage 110 Tactical 6.5 Creedmoor.
Along with 200 Lapua cases.
