What have you recently purchased that is firearms related?

From the Colt Collectors Convention in Charlotte. 4 of us went, 1 wonderful gun was brought back [not by me]. I bought two pair of grips for Colt SAAs. One beautifully colored set of Ivory and a completely stunning set of carved Pearl. Guns sent back to Connecticut with grips for fitting. A set of Pearl grips weighs almost as much as a plastic .380.

I learned that Battenfield Technologies, owners of Frankford Arsenal, Wheelers, Tipton and many other brands, sells replacement parts VERY reasonably and ships for free!

Got the below for my FA wet tumbler for $5 shipped :)

I paid for my suppressors today.

My AR-15 300 blackout needed another muzzlebreak and a handguard to accommodate the can.

Tax stamp on the Mark IV should be here any day now.

I’m going to get a threaded barrel for the 1911 so I can be complete.

I’ve had $250 in BassPro gift cards burning a hole in my wallet for a while now. Finally drove the hour to the one in Concord Mills and blew almost all of it on Magpul goodies for the AR build I almost have finished. Stock, grip, B.A.D leaver, triger guard, 2 P-Mags, and a castle nut wrench. Just a few more pieces to go and she will be all done.

Bought a pair of JBL speakers I've been looking for off eBay.

They're firearm related because my reloading area is in the same room these will go. :D

Fingers crossed they're actually in good working condition, and don't get damaged in transit!!

Picked up another Anderson stripped lower on sale and just ordered a Bravo Concealment 3.0 holster and mag carrier for the new Glock 45.

Haha, I got an email about those and I had to have one. I think it’s hilarious. Where did you buy your from?

Saw it when it was $16.99 but didn’t realize it was a limited run for them. Went back to order one and it was out of stock. Got one of Ar15.com for $30 shipped just because I really wanted one.

I committed to a Hi Point 995 carbine. I'll pick it up next month. And, another Glock. Anybody want to see a picture of the Glock?

Well I didn’t buy it, but I have an IDP trigger shoe with the blue trigger safety on the way, incoming long post!!

I was given a Glock trigger a couple of years ago because the previous owner attempted to mod the trigger and trigger bar, he ended up “polishing” a bit too much off the, well everything lol, and wound up with a non functioning Glock, he let me keep the trigger since he put the stock trigger back in his gun, I messed with the borked trigger a bit and then tossed it into my parts bag, I wasn’t going to run a trigger with a non functioning trigger safety.

I rediscovered the trigger earlier this week and noticed I should be able to replace the trigger safety and have a working kick ass trigger, I shot an e-mail to the company and asked if I could buy just the trigger safety, when I was looking around their site I found that they have colored triggers and safeties now so I asked for a quote on a blue one, someone replied within a couple of hours asking for more info so I told them the whole story with full disclosure, after I sent the email I figured they read it and passed it around the office so everyone could read about how my “friend” is a dumbass and jacked up an $80 trigger, hell the way I looked at it was, I’m totally fine with people thinking I’m “that guy” if I ended up paying a few bucks to fix an awesome trigger, I’ll call it a “stupid tax” I was willing to pay even if I actually didn’t do it this time, I’ve done it plenty in the past so I’ll own this one if it gets me an $80 trigger for $10-$15 bucks :D

Well the guy asked for my name and shipping info so I sent everything to him figuring he would reply with a total for the part and shipping, to my suprise I got tracking info on something they sent , I immediately contacted them and explained to them again that the damage was in no way, shape or form their fault and I needed to pay for the replacement parts, the guy said “part? Sir we sent you a whole new trigger with a blue safety, no charge and thank you for your business”........ blown away doesn’t even begin to describe my reaction, they don’t want the old trigger, they don’t want pictures, nada!

I guess they found me in the system since Ive ordered from them in the past and decided to go WAY above and beyond by sending a replacement even though I made it perfectly clear the part didn’t fail, it was abused to the point of complete failure.

If anyone wants to check them out here is a link, I will definitely be picking up another “Flat-Line” trigger for my G19, it’s the least I can do after the level of customer service they provided.
