What have you recently purchased that is firearms related?

Its because someone missed a scan. USPS did not properly scan the package when it entered their system. This is not a Brownells issue. It happens all the time with the USPS. It sucks but then again the shipping was free so really no harm no foul unless you needed the item on a particular day. IMHO
Still doesn't excuse them for the poor CS when I called. They basically told me just to wait as long as they deem necessary. Like many others have said, primary arms, midway, etc all compete with Brownells and beat them on service

I get decent service from all of them. Primary and Midway almost never give free shipping except on specific items. I guess I don't consider it poor CS that they would not call USPS for you. It would not have yielded any info on your package. After period of time if the item was not delivered they would have credited your account or reshipped the items. I am not sure Primary or Midway would have done anything differently. To me it seems like you should be mad at USPS not Brownells.

Anyway glad you got your stuff.

S&W 4006 TSW CHP Police trade these were made custom for CHP, rail and no trigger play spring. Decocker only and Novak sights.
I'm a fan of heavy metal and police trades metal or plastic. :)
S&W said it left the factory on 10/6/2006.

Beretta has promo going on, I got a threaded barrel for my M9A1_22.
Many magazines on promo, including 9mm 30rd, .22lr, etc and shipping free on $25+ orders.
If you have a 92S police trade, the standard 92FS Factory magazines will fit.

Decided to jump into the 300AAC game. PSA had an 8.5 inch pistol kit for $300, so I ordered. Have a wild idea I may get into the suppressed game in 2019 since I have some of y’all that can help me navigate the intricacies of the process...

So:

PSA .300 AAC 8.5 inch pistol kit
Magpul ambi-sling mount
Magpul forward sling mount
Magpul finger stop
400 rounds of PRVI Partizan 125 gr .300AAC
Cheap NCStar pistol sub gun case
4 “Don’t Tread on Me” mag wraps (to compliment the “no Step on snek” lower, and to mark the .300 AAC mags)

I cannot figure out how pawn shops price their guns. I have seen some crazy high prices on guns and on rare occasions there will be something priced very reasonably.

I went out a few minutes ago to pick up a coupe of things at the grocery store. On the way back home I stopped by a local pawn shop just to see what they had. I found this Ruger Standard .22 pistol. The finish shows some wear and tear but the gun is tight and the bore is perfect. Made in 1966. I brought it home for $150.

I bought some range time, a target, and some weird-looking ammo for the revolver...some round nose with lead sticking out, I think 158 gr....supposed to help with recoil, didn't.
Shot up more of the Blazer Brass, the Sig isn't liking it a whole lot, but a good day at the range!

Great find!

I stop at all kinds of places. Most want nearly new money for most stuff. It bums me out because I've got a small fund for that sort of thing. Or just something interesting. I was going to buy an Iver Johnson revolver. Before I left my house I saw the e-mail that Denver Defense had closed their doors. That's the closest I've gotten so far!

Not as exciting, but I received my CrossBreed Mini-Tuck IWB holster w/horsehide for my XDs and 5 Magpul 5.56 dummy rounds. All for just under $31 from Gander. I used the gift card they gave me for buying a gun and a percentage off code and free shipping. It took less than a week. Good experience this time.

158gr LRN will have recoil.

Look for 148gr Wadcutter for reduced recoil. It works because its lighter weight and lower velocity. It also puts very clean cut holes in targets.

PSA marauder 7 inch 5.56 upper. Pistol gas. Nitride barrel, low profile gas block. Easy to upgrade with a rail.

Fits tight on my cheapo Anderson and SB SOB brace lower. Barely shorter than my .300blk 8.5" due to the unique muzzle device and handguard retainer.

Put a premium BCG and an H2 buffer in it. Can't wait to watch this flamethrower at work

Just ordered a set of Dawson Precision fiber optics for my M&P full size 9mm and .45acp. I put fronts on my 1911's a few years ago and like them a lot, but I am going to have to go to front and rear from now on...old eyes.

Kaw Valley linear comp and Midwest Ind. blast diverter from Aim surplus. For the above 5.56 pistol. Whichever one I don't like goes on something else

Marlin 795 in 22LR
This one was made in Huntsville Alabama, less than a year old, sights are straight and it shoots like a laser. Been wanting one for a while and the price was right.
The youngin is happy (that's his teenage smile lol) and just in time for rabbits!

Probably get a McCarbo trigger kit and some tech sights and take him to Appleseed in spring.
