What made this?

Appears to be a big deer track, probably elongated some since it looks like it was mud when it was made. Not sure what kind of tracks an Alpaca makes!
 
Yeah, that's a big boy. Don't think any elk have snuck down to Rock Hill yet. lol I found one in the snow like that after the season. I've seen that one twice and he is huge, about a 10 ptr or better, and wide.
 
Give me the GPS coordinates of where you took that photo and I'll come out and take a look......with my stand....and my rifle.....maybe a suppressor and a night vision scope.
 
Deer was the first thing that came to my mind. A large mutant deer.
 
Guys, guys, when a deer runs it's hooves spread upon impact and a 150# deer will make YOU think he's a 400# MONSTER....
One thing I will say about that track is that it's most likely an older animal, not necessarily a big deer and it was definitely running.

Alpacas do not leave dew claw marks. Their pads hardly leave any tracks.
