I don't ride the BRP much. It is a pretty road indeed, but too many tourists, (and they're gawking all around) and the locals use it for commuting too. Sometimes packed. It's better away from the metro areas.If I lived along the mountains I'd probably have a street bike. The Blue Ridge Parkway is gorgeous and there are few entrances for someone to pull out into you.
