Youre packed into amphibious assault craft like those used on D Day. What song do you want playing as the gate drops and you're propelled into cacophony of incoming machine-gun fire?

Man, I got so many that pump me up, it would be hard to nail down just one. Metallica Battery from Seattle 89, or Fight fire with fire on serious cocaine influence 1985, lol. Cant believe they upped the tempo as much as they did then. I could f*7k some s%$t up on those two songs, haha.



 
I'll share some shit here...the first time, riding down to old Panama in C141's for the jump in Dec 89 I listened to Metallica Master of Puppets cassette about 5 times in my walkman...Disposable Heroes was an anthem back then; psyops guys played a ton of metal that trip all over the city while we were hunting noriega and after he holed up with the popes team...more Metallica, anthrax, lots of iron maiden, all good shit. The Shield & The Storm I remember so much 60's early 70s stuff always playing, a lot of the Doors and CCR and other shit, this was the last big trip for most of our still in uniform vietnam vets and they really had a time with it...I know there was other stuff, but thats what sticks with me.
O3 going into Iraq they played a lot of AC/DC...the song I remember most is the Razors Edge, its embedded in my head with some crazy shit we went through early on.

In general, anything by Disturbed or Five Finger Death Punch. Regardless of the lyrics or meaning of their individual songs, the sheer intensity of their music makes me want to light something up with an M-60 SAW.
