When I see 9mm on the ground at a match or class and no one is picking it up (ie I'm not stealing from the guys who want that round they just ejected) I grab it and put it in a collection I've been making. Now though, that collection is getting a little larger than I thought.

I've got just over 500 rounds of totally random 9mm ammo. Factory, handloads, aluminum, brass, steel whatever. So now what? I've joked about getting a cheap hi-point and running it all through, but I can't find a cheap hi-point. Everyone seems to want retail for their used ones. :)

I could also sort it all out by type, pull the bullets, toss the powder than reload the brass cases. Lotta free primers/bullets that way.

What else? Armslist it as tacticool potpourri for 25 cents/round? OK maybe not that.

I ain't skeered.

I wouldnt shoot it, but Im a Gucci kind of guy. Unless Im 100% sure its mine when I pick it off the ground, I leave it there (Now I know who picks it up though)

I probably left half of that in that pile right there.

no, but I do steal rounds out of your truck when you're inside at Starbucks. "locked inside a vehicle" is the same as "on the ground" in my book. :)

I watch the 9mm major guys like hawks, and hand their rounds back even if they leave them. no need to test those.

I am not an expert by any means, but isn't shooting someone else's relaods a no-no? That's what I was taught. I have a stash of reloads from my Dad, but I've shot his guns and reloads before so I consider that a little different. Random off the ground stuff? Not me.

Kinda like drug users sharing bowls and needles! :p

Charbucks.
I will not drink their swill, no I won't.
Not when I was young, or now I'm grownt.

That was somebody else's F150

Maybe, not sure. Try it and post the results in Tortuga.

Find someone with one of those Ruger Blackhawk Convertibles that has a 9mm cylinder and have a field day. I doubt you could blow up one of those revolvers with about any 9mm round you could stuff into it.

The components are not worth the time it’d take to pull them apart, so either shoot them or subtly drop them on the ground a few at a time at the next match.

If you’re feeling evil run them through a dry tumbler to polish them up good, wear gloves at all times, then wander around Chapel Hill and casually drop a few now and then. I suggest a home football weekend.

I would shoot it, my lowly ole p93 probably wouldn't mind.

Choot it all.
If them other boys weren't afeered to shoot them rounds, then I wouldn't be either.

I'd give in a run in my 9mm SBR or my 9mm Pitbull. I'll take both of those to Battery Oaks if the ammo shows up. :D

It's fun to load a random mag full of whatever and shoot the SBR suppressed...real easy to tell the subs vs supers.

@Jayne thought of you at the range yesterday
