Ive been listening to the shit out of some The Dead South here recently. They'll be at the Blind a Tiger in Greensboro in September. Hopefully I can make it out.

If anyone is interested these guys will be in Greensboro next Thursday. Me and a guy from work already have our tickets. I'm not a late night guy anymore much less mid week. But it'll be worth it. Might sleep in my office.

Yer bitches, Bitches.... Even tho it's really Franks n Beans !

Taking it back to 2002/03ish with Atreyu, one of the better bands of the era to do fashion-core

I just felt like nostalgia binge listening to a stack of this, & felt like dragging y'all along...

The tone Tom Scholz could get out of that Les Paul. Rest In Peace, Brad Delp.

Murphy, thanks for the Leo link. covers of Chandelier is what i listened to last week.

I don't think this has been posted here, yet. If so, sorry for the duplication.

Wintergatan-

I'm really not a country fan.
But I am a telly fan. Love the sound, it's what I play around with.
Marty Stuart and Kenny Vaughn kill it.

Frank Zappa was just weird. I heard this for the first time last night on the 80s on 8 XM channel.
I dont see the appeal of the guy.
Or his girl.
Or his boy.

A blast from the past.

Look up "I am the Slime" "Moving to Montana" and "Don't Eat that Yellow Snow"

He wasn't quite normal (understatement), neither was his guitar playing, but some of his stuff strikes me as very funny. Including the names of his kids.

Seem to be the perfect song for today.

Zappa is amazing. I love his music. Valley girl is the tip of a very large iceberg! He has some of the best bands ever assembled.
