As if y’all didn’t know just how badass Jaco Pastorius was, listen to the last 30 seconds or so...he is singing a very high tenor (may even be mezzo-soprano range...very high for a guy, anyway) part to mirror the sax AND playing a syncopated walking bassline that is completely different in nearly every way. That little scrawny dude was legit!!

I had heard the Believe in a Thing Called Love song, but thats all I knew.
I was listening to it recently on youtube, for some reason, and saw that on the side. Listened, liked.
Now what I REALLY liked was this song...really a great rock song

Not quite sure on that one yet. IMO One Way Ticket to Hell was their sweet spot between hard rock and pop. Their early stuff was more hard rock and their latest is too poppy. Bald, Knockers and the other songs on that album are not only good, but funny as well.

They are amazing live and in person. They played at Oskar Blues earlier this year but I missed it. Have seen them a few times over the years.
