Whatcha' listening to?

I heard this in a restaurant/brewery in Blowing Rock this past weekend. It blew me away.

Some of you old 70's hippies will recognize the tune.

They play NC pretty regularly, I'd say they are in my top 5 favorite bands.
Being a bluegrass fan, and having heard Pink Floyd play that live in Charlotte in '73 is what made my hair stand on end. That could be the best cover of that song I ever heard

That is an excellent cover.

I have a lot of Floyd covers collected. And bootleg concerts from back in the day.

I am jealous that you saw them on that tour live. I was 8 :) I have seen Waters and Floyd both several times but all after they split :-(

For those of you that might actually like Simple Minds, this video is about the making of the album Graffiti Soul. Kerr talks about their influence for the album.

I remember when it was first released, it wasn’t available in the US. Lucky for me, I was going to Europe on a regular basis & was able to pick up a couple copies.

If you like the band, you will like this video, if not, sorry.

IMO Skynyrd's best tunes are 'Simple Man' and 'The Ballad of Curtis Loew'
It's good to see you're listening to the good stuff lately. I was concerned for you feeding your brain with 80's pop
80s pop rules
punk rock rules

Simple Man and Tuesday's Gone are my top 2 LS tunes.

I think Elvira is why I was always chasing after goth girls in high school.

BTW, can we acknowledge the fact that this woman is 67 years old.

I would be happy to acknowledge Cassandra Peterson in any way possible. :p
