I got to take a 35 minute nap yesterday and baby girl slept from 11 until 4 last night. Best gift ever for a dad of an infant. Today I'm taking the boy to the pool. Told the wife not to get me anything so just a card and some "quality time" from her.
 
So far, nothing...everyone except me is still in bed lol. We had my sons 9th birthday party yesterday (birthday is today) and everybody is still tired as heck.
I always tell the wife and kids I dont want anything (cuz my birthday is next week) but I always end up with something or another.
Sissy has been closed up in her room for a few days working on something. She always hand makes me something for Fathers Day and my birthday.

Got my dad $100 gift card to lowes since he's about to build shelves in new shipping container. Closest thing I have to a kid is my dog. Her present to me was waking me up at 4am then chasing a rabbit off and making me search for her, when she was supposed to just pee
 
I am looking forward to the wife waking up from her nap and telling me about all the things she "thought about getting me but decided not to", the suspense is killing me..

And then tomorrow the kids will tell me they didn't realize that yesterday was fathers day..
 
Had a good breakfast of eggs, sausage and pancake muffins (something the wife and daughter created). And these......

Now for the fun part, I get to fill them up.
 
I got a car vacuum because my wife and kids know how anal I am about my "new" car. And a generic Fitbit to see how I like it since I've been trying to cut back lately. And some beard balm from my 4 year old. Makes the manliness even more so. Can hardly handle myself now.

Just FTR I'm taking a trip to the capitol (DC) this week to meet with our representatives as part of a PAC.

I intend on having that pen clipped to my lapel. Can't wait to see how that goes over.

I got some cards today, too...and the Mrs got me a new set of snakeskin grips in coyote for my P01 :)
Im thinking about having it Cerakoted coyote in a distressed type pattern with the black showing through in places. I think it would look sweeet. AND its going to CGW around the first week of July as a late bday/fathers day to myself :cool:

Love and respect from my wife and son. Mrs. gave me 2000rds of .22 mag ammo and prepared a lobster dinner last night.

I am almost done for the day. I have 2 kids at home with lunch, artwork, some homemade cards and such waiting for me. I can't complain really.
 
My bday was the 13th. So I got a combo gift of wireless ear buds for working out and an Anker portable power supply from the wife and kids. Headed to work this evening.
 
A 4 burner flattop grill immediately followed by suggestions of what I could cook on it!! LOL![emoji16]

I am in the middle of having an awesome and fun day with my 6 year old son. Woke up to a home made card (the best one I have ever gotten), rode our bikes down to the lake for a little fishing and now heading out to the pool with a cooler full of "daddy drinks".

No gift necessary. Already have the BEST one I could ever ask for.
