I'm really out of my area with this rifle, but a friend wanted to get something else so I bought it. It's in a KRG chassis and it's solid as a rock. He thought $1,200 was fair price and I hope it was. It's only been shot a couple hundred rounds and has a Trigger Tech red trigger in it. I'm a wood and blued steel guy and never had anything like this. If I paid too much, I'll just take my loss and move on. I haven't shot it and don't plan to just looking for a fair price to move it on.

B-14R $1030 @ Buds
KRG Chassis $390
Add tax, shipping, FFL $140
Total new $1560

So you got a 23% discount for your friend shooting a couple hundred rounds. I think in general, 20% discount off best current new prices is a good deal for very good condition guns. I’d say your friend was spot on for a fair deal.

Those are nice rifles....last I looked a new one was in the neighborhood of $1100.

Thanks for the info, folks. I think I'll list it for $1,200 and see what happens. It is a very well built rifle, just not me. He's a good friend so if he's happy; I'll be happy whatever happens

I didn’t realize they have carbon and steel barrel versions. Carbon is what came up in search. However, searching gun.deals I see you can also get the barreled action w trigger and mag for only $570, or complete rifle with steel barrel for around $850, so in that case $1200 isn’t so hot.

If for whatever reason you have a hard time selling with chassis I’d be interesting in swapping you the chassis for my oem stock plus cash

I just saw your ad that diamond trigger is pricey I think you did ok all things considered.

I'll admit that if it was in a more conventional stock, I might consider keeping it. I'm just stuck in the past I guess.

I'll see what happens in a couple days.

I think you are right in line for it. I have a steel barrel version with a Timney CE trigger and I would be hard pressed to sell it for that. They are great shooters.
