What's for dinner?

Hot sauce, yes. Egg, sadly no. Forgot to ask and could barely manage to pick up half of it anyway... Que sara...
Now you need to go to the Dirty O in Oakland and get a hot dog and fries....a medium fry will feed about 7 people.

Then head down to Mancini's and get some pepperoni rolls.

Leftovers. Tuesday, I made a 'casserole' with a can of tomatoes and a can of white beans, threw in some chopped onion, carrot, & celery, set my last two lamb ribs on top, seasoned with S&P, coriander, thyme, bay leaf, and tarragon. It was pretty dang good for after 2 days of sittin'! Not bad for a "what do I have in the cabinets & fridge" special.

Well I had a later lunch (1:30) that was pretty filling and really stuck with me, so tonight just a small portion of cherry cobbler that I made in the crock pot.
Went to Metas in WS for some soul food - its a hidden gem of the downtown
Ive yet to meet someone that knew about it before I took them there...and I found it on accident!

Tonight were having whole wheat pasta, shrimp, broccolini, sun dried tomato's, garlic and oil. Topped with imported Romano cheese.

Found some double cut bone in pork chops at Costco the other day.
Gave them a good dusting with some ButtRub and decid it would be a good time to give the Pitmaster IQ a go and see how it do paired with the Pit Barrel Cooker.

Had some trouble getting up to temp but after that it was rock steady at 375 till they were done.
Might have to sell my WSM, it's getting sent down to the minors.

Drove back from Edisto yesterday and brought 1.5# of fresh scallops with me. Complimented with a massive ribeye and some fresh green beans and corn.

Absolutely divine.

Seafood frenzy captured me as well.

Swordfish, pepperdelle (? Lis bought it) pasta, and broiled green beans.

Made a mix of beer bratwurst, rice, peppers and peas generally based on this.

Soaked the brats in beer for most of the afternoon, seared the casings on the cast iron skillet, then pulled them off and backed off the temp while I sliced them up along with the bell peppers. Threw those in on low temperature for a few minutes then added peas and rice.

No pics; it didn't last and led to a whole litany of jokes from my wife about how she couldn't get enough of my delicious sausage. :D

We took our grandson home yesterday, so we made a sashay back thru Southern Pines to have dinner at Full Moon. The snow crab, clams, and shrimp were good, but the chargrilled oysters were great.

Gonna grill a couple of Strips tonight, and put two pork tenderloins in the smoker for tomorrow and the rest of the week.

Dinner will be hamburgers, homemade potato salad, and corn grilled in the husk. After we grill the corn we put a light coating of mayonnaise on them and then sprinkle romano cheese on them. :)

Grilled chicken, potato salad, macaroni salad, cucumber salad, collards, corn, veggie tray, and German chocolate cake for dessert.

Ribs, wings, macaroni salad, squash & zucchini, baked beans, taters. Was going to do Ribeyes and ribs but my usual steak place was closed and the other stores steaks were lacking....

Bacon, mater, and DUKES mayo sandwiches...........get it right fellows. There are newbies among us who deserve to know our trade secrets.

Nothing but Dukes in this house!

Thanks for stepping up with the Dukes' only clarification on this Don and same in the Brangus hacienda.

If we don't set some culinary standards on CFF, our new refugees will believe that we don't even have meringue on our banana pudding dishes................
Geez.

Heh! My first wife had to teach me about Dukes. My mother was a Kraft mayo person. Thank Gawd it wasn't Miracle Whip!!

The most pitiful dinner imaginable for someone with a job.

Some leftover spaghetti sauce, some baked Cheesy Poofs, and two cans of Vienna sausages coated in flaming rain lime hot sauce.
