Yes Sir, and lightly sautéed spinach on the outer rim.

No pics (didn't last long), my first foray into cast iron (got a pan over Christmas) consisted of chicken drumsticks... good times.

Going to have bbq & ribs with collard greens, black-eyed peas, corn bread & waiting on wife to decide dessert. [IMG2=JSON]{"data-align":"none","data-size":"full","src":"http:\/\/img.photobucket.com\/albums\/v167\/Sandman_NC\/eat.gif"}[/IMG2]

Tim...you got to stop this and stop it now. I've gained 6 pounds just looking at your pictures.

:)

I'm cooking a 7 lb boneless ribeye roast on the ugly drum, collards, hoppin' johns and cornbread. I haven't tried one on the ugly drum before. Can't wait!

I'll be happy to try and post pics!

I have two oiled and salt-crusted potatoes in the oven now. In about an hour, I'll start two NT strips in a cast iron skillet, then let them join the taters so they can all finish up together. The steaks are dressed in only some fresh ground black pepper and a little sea salt.

I had green beans for supper. I added smoked ham, onions, paprika, goya, butter, olive oil, chicken stock, and black pepper. I add a little cayenne to mine for just a little kick.

Oh, my belly, Ooohh...

Deer chili. Harvested the deer just last night. This was when I first put it on.

Last night? Did it have a hole in each hoof and a hole between its eyes?

LOL No It was a wounded warrior hunt hosted by a hunt club in Caswell county. Once a year they invite us out to hunt with them and throw on a big shindig for us. We had about 60 hunters and a couple of dozen dogs. We ended up with 21 deer in total for the day.

Pinstriped grunts, white grunts, and one lonely mangrove snapper. Scaled, gutted, scored, rolled in a bag with house Autry seafood breader and "released" over hot peanut oil. I do believe in catch and release.

Had a little surf and turf tonight courtesy of the wife grabbing steak and crab legs instead of bread and milk.

I haven't had salmon patties in years. Gonna fix that this week.

If I ate like that every night I would be Gigantor.

"What's in the 'Fridge?" stew.

Chicken, onions, peppers, garlic, leftover piece of linguica, two small slices of seared tuna steak, bay leaf, a few herbs, 1/2-can of diced tomatoes, paprika, 2 small red spuds that were starting to walk (I peeled 'em), couple of spring onions as an afterthought.

Pasta tonight...

Kind of a cabbage, bacon, andouille sausage, sweet potato, onions, turnips, carrots stew/soup in the Instant Pot tonight for dinner... Topped with a healthy dose of gochujang and Sriracha to burn out the rest of this sore throat and cold

Can't figure out how to get the photo to upload
