Grilled Cheese and Fried Eggs. Out of the 3 grilled cheese samiches I made I was able to get 3 bites. This crazy 2 year old really likes grilled cheese.
He's been working too hard changing the oil in that tricycle.

Got a keeper to make most of this happen. :)

Quickie version of Chicken Cacciatore. Leftover homemade tomato sauce, some extra tomato and mozzeralla.

Chorizo tacos with tomatillo cream...

I had short rib tacos tonight at Cantina 18. Spicy and great!
Jason does good food. I like the duck confit tacos there. If you haven't been to 18Seaboard his flagship restaurant I highly recommend it. Craklin' pork shank is amazing!

Tilapia, squash, zucchini, onion, kale. Tilapia had a dry rub called Devils Dust, from Martins Bbq joint. I sau-té the vegetables in a cast iron pan with a little olive oil, then put the tilapia right on top and let it steam for about 6 minutes.

My favorite wing joint... Apex Wings. The wait staff is always charming and entertaining, too. [IMG2=JSON]{"data-align":"none","data-size":"full","src":"http:\/\/i856.photobucket.com\/albums\/ab130\/cubldr\/IMG_0625_zps83nxzzko.jpg"}[/IMG2]

The goods. I ate all the celery, and had them hold the jalapenos. An old man can only handle so much. Always have an extra beverage with the hot wings, and forget 16oz. adult beverages. 20 oz is mandatory... Chicken and biscuit came off new grill.... pretty good too. Mashed potatoes, rutabaga, & green beans were ok. lol

The green beans look like they need another hour or so of simmering in bacon grease. Remember...if they squeak on your teeth, they ain't done.

(Just funnin' you, Tim...that meal looks great, too.)

You know the same owners of that place opened a place in HS? It's where Ricci's used to be. We ordered wings there 2 weekends ago, every bit as good!

Agreed sir. Heresy I say to post those descriptions and words that cause us to salivate without posting pics. And to think he ended the post declaring the pork medallions were wrapped in .......................................BACON !

No pics, sadly, but we were hungry!

Shrimp cocktail (home made sauce, of course!), salad, grilled skewers 1: scallops & red peppers marinated in lemon, wine, garlic, S&P, and then...

I marinated some of the shrimp in a new, very simple concoction of Sriracha, soy sauce, and about a teaspoon of sugar.

Harris Teeter had Ny Strips on Sale. So some 2" thick strips some twice baked sweet taters sautéed mushrooms and Jameson's Caskmates Stout edition to finish it off.
Steak was closer to Med Rare Than I like but no complaints from the family.
